This course takes 2 days, or 3 days if it has to be combined with the Emergency First Response course (EFR). EFR course or any other First Aid traning is a prerequisite for the Rescue course.
During the course, you learn to become a great dive buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature. Plus, the course is FUN! – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning.
The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with major or minor dive emergencies using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for to prevent or respond to any diving emergency. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills.
