Develop competency as a tec diver and have the skills to dive to a maximum of 50m.
Using sidemount instead of backmounted equipment offers a unique method of buoyancy control resulting in a more streamlined profile, reducing drag and making moving through the water much easier. Plus, as sidemount equipment is custom fitted to each diver, sidmount also offers a greater comfort level, all of which can help divers to improve air usage during dives.
Sidemount configuration also provides Increased air safety with complete control over your own airsupply, with easier access to your cylinder valves, first stages and alternate air sources should a problem arise.
Learning to use the sidemount method also prepares you for advanced types of diving such as wreck penetration, technical and cave diving.
